All Major Changes Create Massive Opportunities

In the current economic climate, with the far reaching impacts of the global financial crisis, things are looking a bit shaky for big businesses. This widespread impact not only affects the banking and finance industries, but the domino effect has seen its way through to impacting the average person as well. Many companies (some of which who were previously viewed as “bulletproof”) are closing their doors–leaving their staff flocking to collect unemployment benefits from the government. As grim as this may sound, there are actually huge opportunities that have been created.

Throughout history, every time a major shift has occurred, millionaires were made. Those who were quick to act and focused on providing solutions to the issues of their day stood to profit. This is just as true today as it was in the past. The current changes in the world brought about by the global financial crisis are going to usher in a new wave of millionaires. However, this next wave will be the people that we least expect–isn’t that always the case?

Enter the new breed of millionaire: the Internet network marketer. Who are they? They are the waiters that serve your food, your next door neighbour, your company’s secretary, the 19 year old university drop out, the unemployed middle manager in a company that just restructured, your hairstylist and even the guy who sold you insurance. They are the people you meet everyday–hardly the type that you would expect would possess any real financial knowledge or sound business acumen. Employees and small business owners are waking up to the harsh realities of the corporate world. There is no job security. Retirement programs are inadequate. They know the government will not look after their financial best interests (heck, the government can’t even balance their own books). These people realise that their financial futures are in jeopardy. As a result, they are opening their minds to other unexplored options, because obviously the traditional ways are not working as advertised.

The internet has become an everyday part of their lives and network marketing organisations are springing up everywhere. Combine the two and you have a low cost business opportunity that is within reach of anyone, and an unprecedented viral marketing capability that is far beyond anything we have ever seen in business history. No matter what your opinion of network marketing is, the fact is: it works as long as you work. There is no such thing as getting rich quickly without effort. Anyone who speaks to the contrary has either been grossly misled or seeks to profit from the ignorance of others who are seeking an overnight shortcut to financial freedom. With that said, not all who venture into network marketing will succeed–in fact, the vast majority will not. The truth is that 95% of all who get into network marketing will not make any profit from their efforts, and they will quit. Does this mean that this type of business is not viable? No, quite to the contrary! The exact same statistic is evident for all new businesses that start up. Does that mean that is not a viable option to start any new business? Obviously that is absurd!

Networking marketing, when done correctly (I actually teach this), can generate a true passive income once the foundation is in place and the work is done. It takes massive action initially to generate the momentum, just like in any traditional business, but when it gets going, the leverage and time freedom that it generates are second to none. So, it takes hard work–just like any traditional business, but where it shines is in its ability to provide a long-term residual income that a traditional business simply cannot.

Now, couple this knowledge together with the viral marketing capabilities that are just now becoming evident with the advent of social media on the Internet. Now you have an extremely powerful combination to drive serious profits and build empires. And we are not talking about pocket change either–leverage, duplication and compounding generate millions of dollars for the people who do this correctly. This is already happening!

So, you see, we are at a tipping point and a new era is upon us. This is the time when increasingly more people are saying no to the corporate world and saying yes to their own home-based businesses. They are seeking valid network marketing opportunities in record numbers and plan to leverage the power of the Internet to drive their financial success forward.
